VIDEO PREMIERE: Big League – At All

Melbourne band Big League released their brilliant single ‘Dine Out on the Subdivide’ earlier this year and now they’ve released the followup ‘At All‘.

It’s another gem of hotwired fuzz and indie rock, a ragged rush of an anthem for the disaffected, with a streak of positivity woven into it. With a key carnivalesque guitar sound, it tumbles out of the speakers with an urgency that combines lo-fi charm with a wistful mood and high melody. Like a lost recording of Bob Mould and The Clean covering The Psychedelic Furs.

“The song’s about getting older,” explains songwriter Travis Velthoven. “Reflecting on the things you’ve done and the things you want to do, and remembering to look to the future with optimism.”

The band continue the theme park aesthetic with the charming fun of the video clip which we’re very pleased to be able to premiere today.
