PARTY DOZEN SWING HEAVY WITH NEW SINGLE ‘WAKE IN MIGHT’

Hammer and tong, heavy-fisted piano, cardiac-threatening ecstatic saxophone declarations and sandstone heavy drumming that swings like a mother fucker are the order of the day on the new cut from Sydney duo Party Dozen.

It follows last year’s excellent full length album The Real Work and is the first taste of their forthcoming record.

The song’s count in sounds like a lost AC/DC track is about to detonate but they then dig straight into an intense and growling post-punk groove that sounds like an Antipodean cousin to those randy Swedes Viagra Boys.

Catch the band playing Marrickville Bowling Club in Sydney on Friday October 27th.
