I’m loving this new track from Melbournian Peter Bibby. With its woozy, drunk guitars, Spectorish drums and lyrical bent in the vein of Courtney Barnett. It pulls you in and seduces you with a ramshackle and desperate charm. Bibby’s voice is a grizzled, burnt out yelp of a thing which suits the song perfectly.

Bibby, a recent signing to Spinning Top Music, has just been added to the St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2015 lineup ahead of the single’s release next week. His debut album Butcher/Hairstylist/Beautician will be released in two formats – digital and CD on Friday Nov 15th with a vinyl pressing to follow.
