They’ve sure sprung a surprise on us this time. With all members making vague references to recordings in progress and having no idea when it will be finished in recent interviews we suddenly get the announcement today that The King Of Limbs will be out this Saturday (19th February) with a special digital release of the album selling for £6.00
The band announced the new album – their first for three years – on their website this morning and said it will following an unusual ‘newspaper album’ format.
Available from May 9th, the album will contain:
- Two clear 10″ vinyl records in a purpose-built record sleeve.
- A compact disc.
- Many large sheets of artwork, 625 tiny pieces of artwork and a full-colour piece of oxo-de-gradeable plastic to hold it all together.
