Last year Kurt Vile musically came of age with the magnificently ragged and sprawling Childish Prodigy. Now he is apparently working on the follow-up with producer John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr, Breeders, Sonic Youth, The Hold Steady). To tide us over he has released Square Shells EP featuring tracks he has recorded since the release of Childish Prodigy. It hits the stores May 25th via Matador.
