For the last three years Pedestrian.TV have been hosting the Australian Blogster Awards which cover a range of subject matter including music, food, fashion photography and more. Last year Doubtful Sounds was honoured to be included in the music finalists and the good news is that DS has again made the final list of nominees. Just as exciting is the fact that our Americana blog Post To Wire has also made the cut in the music category!

At DS we are celebrating five years as a blog with reviews of over 220 live shows and 330 albums. We’ve interviewed members of Radiohead, Wilco, The Stooges, Dirty Three, The Velvet Underground, The Cult, Dinosaur Jr, Ride, Afghan Whigs and many more and kept our readers informed about the latest tours, news, new releases and videos that have excited us. This isn’t a general music website trying to cover everything – it comes from our personal tastes and hopefully you think we are doing a good job of it.
