That’s right, he does tend to sneak up on you sometimes. Word on the interstreet is that Dylan will be releasing his followup to Modern Times in late April (yes, only 6 or 7 weeks from now!). The untitled album was recorded after Dylan wrote a track for the new Olivier Dahan film My Own Love Song and decided to leave the tape running while he recorded another nine songs.
Details are sketchy but we do know it has a border/cafe feel featuring alot of accordion.
Some of the song titles are:
- I Feel a Change Coming On
- Beyond Here Lies Nothin‘
- If You Ever Go to Houston
- This Dream of You
- My Wife’s Home Town
- It’s All Good
- Sample lyric: “I’m listening to Billy Joe Shaver / And I’m reading James Joyce / Some people tell me I got the blood of the land in my voice.”
