Reforming to play All Tomorrow’s Parties, Laughing Clowns were the project that Ed Kuepper created after the dissolution of The Saints.  Classic chiming indie post punk pop with jazz and experimental flavours is a good long winded summary of their sound.  This song in particular is a great example of the type of mid 80s music from outside the mainstream that hasn’t dated.

Seeing both The Saints and Laughing Clowns on the same day at ATP will be a treat…
