Justin Townes Earle has completed work on his third album titled Harlem River Blues and has set a release date of September 13th via Bloodshot Records.
Influenced by a move to New York the album sees him stretching out from the country tunes of his previous releases and pushing into more soulful territory, taking in the sound of Memphis and Otis Redding. The record also features Jason Isbell, Calexico’s Paul Niehaus on the pedal steel guitar and Ketch Secor from Old Crow Medicine Show playing harmonica.
