Chicago’s Califone are about to follow up 2006’s Roots And Crowns with their new album All My Friends Are Funeral Singers on October 6th. The album also sees them departing from Thrill Jockey and joining forces with Dead Oceans.

The album is connected to the film of the same name directed by frontman Tim Rutili who hopes to have it on screens at festivals in 2010.
