Check this fantastic clip of Venom peforming ‘Black Metal’ from their 1982 classic album of the same name.

These guys were a huge influence on thrash and death metal and they were at their peak between 82-86 before guitarist Mantas left the band citing the bands reluctance to evolve as his reason to depart.  They reformed in 1996 and are still going strong releasing the album Hell in 2008 with the lineup of original singer Cronos, new guitarist Rage and drummer Antton.
