Miniature Submarines is the solo project of Mark Nelson of The Stabs and his first release is the 7″ The Little Room Under The Stairs. The B-side I Heard That You Turned Into A Loser, Baby actually kicks more than the A with the killer line “You’ve been on my mind, like a tumour baby”…

Miniature Submarines have a handle on a type of 90s meandering rock that is all sonic squalls and crashes with an overriding melodic centre. Its contagious stuff and well worth getting a copy of.

The 7" is out Dec 10 via Rice Is Nice and you can pre-order a copy on their site over HERE.
